Two labels that deserve careful checking
Kaal Sarp yoga is said to form when every planet in a chart falls on one side of the Rahu–Ketu axis. It is traditionally associated with obstruction, struggle and a sense of effort not converting into result. Partial formations, where one planet sits outside the axis, are common and are a substantially different matter from the complete formation — a distinction routinely ignored.
Pitra dosh concerns ancestral obligation. It is read through the Sun, the ninth house and Rahu's involvement with them, and is traditionally associated with rites left unperformed or family duties unfulfilled. In practice it is frequently declared on thin evidence, particularly to families who have moved abroad and cannot easily verify what was or was not done at home.
Both labels carry enough weight to frighten people, which is exactly why they are so often sold. Master Vijay Ram assesses each properly — the full axis for Kaal Sarp including whether the formation is complete, and the specific configurations for Pitra dosh — and says plainly when neither is present. That answer is given more often than clients expect.
Where a dosha is genuine, the remedies are traditional and well established: Rahu and Ketu mantras, a Kaal Sarp puja at an appropriate location, and for Pitra dosh the ancestral rites — tarpan, shraddha and charity offered in the ancestors' name. These are explained fully, with their purpose and their limits made clear.

A clear, caring path
How these doshas are handled
The consultation verifies whether the formation genuinely exists, assesses what effect it is actually having rather than assuming the worst, and performs the traditional remedies where warranted. Both doshas are widely over-diagnosed, and often the honest answer is that no remedy is needed.
Verify the formation
The Rahu–Ketu axis is checked planet by planet for Kaal Sarp, and the Sun, ninth house and Rahu configurations for Pitra dosh, to establish whether either genuinely forms.
Assess the actual effect
A formation present in a chart is not automatically active. Its strength, the houses involved and the running dasha determine how much it bears on your life now.
Perform the traditional remedies
Where warranted, Rahu and Ketu mantras, a Kaal Sarp puja, or the ancestral rites of tarpan and shraddha are prescribed and performed, with each step explained.
