What this offers, and the line it does not cross
The most important thing on this page is the limit. Master Vijay Ram is not a doctor, does not diagnose, and will not tell you what is wrong with your body or what to take for it. Anyone offering an astrological diagnosis in place of a medical one is doing something dangerous. If you have symptoms, see a doctor — that advice is given in every one of these consultations.
Within that limit there is real support to offer. Traditional Vedic astrology reads the sixth house for illness, the ascendant and its lord for constitution and vitality, and the running dasha for the timing of difficult periods. Where someone has had two hard years with their health, seeing that it corresponds to a particular planetary period — and that the period has a definite end — often changes how the remaining months are carried.
Much of the value is in the steadiness. Long illness is isolating, and people describe the wearing effect of uncertainty as much as the symptoms themselves. Prescribed practices — the Mahamrityunjaya mantra is the traditional one here, along with specific charity and observance — give structure to a stretch of time that otherwise has none.
Where the chart indicates it, a Mahamrityunjaya jaap or a grah shanti may be recommended, particularly for a family member who is seriously unwell. These are offered as spiritual support for the household as well as the patient, and always alongside whatever medical treatment is underway.

A clear, caring path
How this guidance is given
This guidance begins by confirming medical care is already in place, then reads the sixth house, the ascendant lord and the running dasha for the shape of a difficult period, and prescribes supportive practice. It describes a period; it never identifies a condition.
Confirm medical care is in place
The first question is whether you are seeing a doctor. Where you are not and symptoms are present, that is the advice given before anything else is discussed.
Read the period, not the diagnosis
The sixth house, the ascendant lord and the running dasha are read for the shape and likely duration of a difficult period — never to name a condition.
Prescribe supportive practice
Mantra, observance and charity suited to your chart, and where warranted a Mahamrityunjaya jaap, to support you and your household through the period.

What this guidance is, and what it is not
Read this before booking. If any of the right-hand column is what you are looking for, this consultation is not it.
| This consultation does | This consultation does not |
|---|---|
| Describe the shape and likely length of a difficult period from the chart | Diagnose an illness or name a condition |
| Prescribe mantra, jaap and supportive spiritual practice | Prescribe, adjust or replace any medication or treatment |
| Offer steadiness to a family carrying a long illness | Substitute for a doctor, a specialist or a hospital |
| Tell you plainly when nothing spiritual is called for | Suggest delaying medical care for any reason |
Do any of these sound familiar?
